God Speaks Through The Vision

In the bible, we read how God sent the prophet, Joel, to declare to His people what the Lord is going to do in the latter days. God too let us sees vision to knows His planning in our life.

And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: 

Joel 2:28  

After the Lord Jesus’s ascended to heaven, the Church was born on the day of Pentecost to fulfil the prophesy as declare by the prophet, Joel:

But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy

A Vision Given To My Wife

Sometime in the year 2011, a vision was given to my wife which God is revealing what He is doing about my working life situation. He is going to moved my situation to a whole new level, a higher level like never before. 

This is the vision my wife saw: She saw me riding on a brown color horse. What was very clear in her vision was that she saw clearly mine expression of a totally free-spirited man riding on this horse.

She saw me riding freely all over the field in that wide open expanse of ground, unrestrained and unrestricted. There was no obstacles, no dangers, no other horses or people. It was the whole place all to myself to enjoy my riding.

Next, she saw a circular parapet wall, sort of low-level wall fencing out and surrounding my managers, supervisors, colleagues and few others.

She saw a picture of these group of people looking over the low wall and seeing me riding freely in the big open field. Because of this low wall, they were not allowed to cross over to my side, meaning I was hedge by this wall. There were envious look on their faces as they watched me riding freely.

The Context Behind This Vision

When I joined the organization, it was the start of recessionary years. Because of stiff competition from the recessionary years, working life then was very demanding.

Also being a new employee, many colleagues took advantage and make my working life difficult for me. We had to put in long hours and handles more responsibilities. I had to take responsibilities for two tough portfolios in order to clinch this job.

The motto for the organization was “lean and mean”, meaning everyone will have to covers more responsibilities in order for the organization to succeed. Though I faced challenging times, I had to persevere through and hold on to that job no matter how tough so that I can feed my family.

This is because it was smack in between the bad recessionary years. This was my difficult and tough working life in my early years of working with this organization.

Because of the vision of the low wall surrounding them, we hears the Lord is saying that He is going to change the whole situation concerning my work situation in due time.

God’s Workings And Plan For Me

The Lord is putting a wall around me henceforth in my organization that none of those colleagues would be able to reach me to knock me down and that He will be protecting me in this organization till I leave the organization.

And He is also going to raise me many levels higher such that my colleagues would only feel envy with all that He has bless me with from His hand.

The envy on their faces as they watch me over the low wall as shown in the vision when they saw God’s blessings upon me. It was indeed to be as the days thereafter for me in my organization was indeed golden days, thereafter in my working life as I breezed through the remaining days.

There was much envy on their faces and nothing else that they can do about me henceforth for the rest of my days in this organization.

His Rewards And Blessings

I have enjoyed and received I have enjoyed and received many special favors from Him that helps me gain much respect and good standing even from the top management. It is evident from the track record of various projects success with my involvement that earns this good standing. The biggest and high point of my employment with this organization was this.  I never imagine that there comes a time when a few directors would request my manager to loan me for an assignment in crisis mode to help pulled through an order for an important customer. (A Mordecai-type amazing experience).

I am also thankful that during this time my property investments, which was an unknown with all my colleagues, became evidently a big success as property prices shot up. Such was His blessings and special favors that brought much envy from my colleagues, literally showing on their faces. Due to the Lord’s help with my Financial Stewardship, those log term investments has provide me with a means to stop early with this organization to pursue other plans and purposes. I am sure that it is in good hands with Him on my side.

“Truly a fruition of the vision came to pass”

The Vision Came To Pass

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 

Ps 23:5

Eventually I left the organization in 2015 with a “golden handshake” package for 20 years of service rendered. I also felt the recognition for my years of service, as well as leaving the organization with a good name and good standing with my colleagues.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

The name of the Lord Jesus be praised forever.
